Nolen grew up in Richardson, TX, outside of Dallas.  While he took piano and clarinet lessons as a child, nothing stuck until he picked up the guitar in middle school.  He discovered his passion for leading worship as a junior in high school when he was asked to lead worship for his youth group. He has been leading worship since 2013 and has led at two previous churches.  In 2020, He married his wife, Juli, and completed a Bachelor's degree in worship leadership from The King's University. Nolen finds joy in drinking coffee, listening to music, and enjoying nature. He has a passion for creating opportunities for people to meet with God.
